The PWR team are collaborating with an Ofsted-Good rated Secondary School in Manchester. We are currently seeking a passionate and committed Teacher of French to join their dynamic faculty.

Position: Teacher of French
Location: Manchester
Start Date: September
Salary: £30,000 - £46,525 Per Annum

Key Responsibilities:

  • Embrace and advance the school’s vision, values, and core purpose.
  • Deliver engaging French lessons to Key Stage 4 students.
  • Develop comprehensive lesson plans to ensure progression in students’ learning.
  • Maintain high expectations for student behaviour and cultivate positive relationships.
  • Utilise diverse teaching methods, including ICT, to keep students actively engaged.
  • Employ assessment information to inform planning and enhance student progress.
  • Provide constructive feedback on classwork and homework, setting appropriate targets.
  • Develop, evaluate, and update schemes of work across all Key Stages.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory assessment and reporting requirements.
  • Implement Individual Education Plans for students with Special Educational Needs.
  • Foster inclusivity and maximize progress for all students.
  • Reflect on teaching practices to continually improve effectiveness.
  • Participate fully in meetings, progress evenings, and Faculty Improvement Plan activities.
  • Fulfill responsibilities as a form tutor and contribute to wider curricular activities.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Produce documentation in accordance with brand style standards.
  • Comply with safeguarding, health, safety, and data protection policies.
  • Engage in training and professional development opportunities.
  • Contribute to staff training and development.
  • Promote the school’s ethos and represent it at events.
  • Undertake any other duties as assigned within the scope of the role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
