Food Technology Teacher – Bournemouth

Start Date: January 2026
Contract: Full-time

A vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Bournemouth is seeking a fully qualified Food Technology Teacher to join their dynamic Design & Technology department from January 2026.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and creative Food Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4, inspiring students to develop practical skills and a passion for cooking, nutrition, and healthy living. You will be joining a supportive team committed to fostering a positive learning environment and achieving high standards across the curriculum.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification

  • Have experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level (KS3–KS4)

  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of curriculum requirements and assessment

  • Be passionate about engaging students through practical, hands-on learning

  • Show a commitment to maintaining high expectations and positive behaviour

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
