Food Technology Teacher - Farnborough - January or April

Full time teacher of Food Technology KS3 + KS4 with Tutor group, to start in January or April 2019, Secondary School in Farnborough.

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our partner school in Farnborough to attract a quality teacher of Food Technology up to a KS4 level with full teaching responsibilities including the pastoral care of a tutor group. This role will be paid to your pay scale however negotiations can be made for exceptional teachers. For candidates with experience and willing the school are happy to consider a deputy curriculum leader post.

This role is suitable for NQTs and the school is happy to support NQTs through their training, with a tailored programme designed by a trained and dedicated mentor.

The school are lucky in that they currently have an excellent retiring teacher who is happy to remain at the school until a replacement is found as such they are happy to be flexible with you regarding when you start with them. This means they are open to either a January or April start.

The school have excellent new behaviour systems in place which have been brought in which have allowed the SLT at the school to have a much more active role in ensuring that behaviour is well managed within the school. Results at the school are improving on a yearly basis and are above the national average.

The school offer many opportunities to be an active member of their community with regular charities events, a large number of after school extra curricular clubs. Staff are encouraged to participate in these where possible.
