Food Technician – Full Time – Immediate Start
 Daventry

 Start Date: Immediate

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a dedicated Food Technician to support a secondary school in the Daventry area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in food preparation, classroom support, or school-based technical roles who is available to start straight away.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Support the Food Technology department with preparation of ingredients, equipment, and resources

  • Maintain hygiene and safety standards within the food prep areas

  • Assist teaching staff during practical lessons

  • Monitor and manage stock levels, ordering materials when required

  • Ensure classrooms and workspaces are cleaned and reset after lessons

  • Provide general technical support within the department

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Food Technician or within a school/food environment is desirable

  • Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one through Teaching Personnel)

  • Availability for an immediate start
