Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Technology Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in the Daventry area. This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who can deliver engaging, practical, and inspiring Food Technology lessons that empower students to develop confidence, independence, and essential life skills.
Start Date: January 2026 – or sooner for the right candidate

The Role:

Teach Food Technology across Key Stages within a well-resourced secondary school environment

Deliver creative and practical lessons covering nutrition, food preparation, food safety, and culinary skills

Encourage independence, creativity, and resilience in practical sessions

Monitor, assess, and support student progress effectively
-
Contribute to department planning, enrichment activities, and curriculum development
What We Are Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
-
Strong subject knowledge and genuine passion for Food Technology
-
Ability to inspire and motivate students aged 11–16
-
Excellent behaviour management and organisational skills

A commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
