We are working with a Special Educational needs school in Guildord who are looking for experienced Teaching assistants who are fairly flexible with working hours. The school requires teaching assistants to cover a range of classes due to short term sickness, school trips, and staff training days.
The role
The role entails covering variou different primary classes across the school working with pupils with social emotional mental health difficulties. You will be expected to assist the class teacher with academic and social activities through out the day.
You
The ideal candidate would be happy to receive a call a day or two in advance or on the same day the cover is required. Experience working with pupils with SEN is desired - namely and physical disabilities autism. This experience can be professional or home based.

The school
This SEN school caters for primary with a range of SEN including autism and social emotional mental health needs. Staff are highly knowledgeable with SEN and provide excellent facilities for pupils to learn, grow and develop to succeed in the workplace and live rewarding, independent lives.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
