Flexible Supply Teacher wanted in Wigan!

Daily Rate: Pay – To – Scale

Start Date: September 2025

Contract: Temporary, Full-Time, Part-Time and Ad-Hoc positions available

Location: Wigan

We are currently recruiting dedicated supply teachers to support schools across Standish, Ashton-in-Makerfield, Hindley, and Leigh. Whether you're seeking regular work or occasional days, we have a range of positions to suit your availability.

Our partner schools are conveniently located across the Wigan borough and are easily accessible via the M6, A580, and A577, with excellent public transport links available.

Key Requirements:

  • An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered on the Update Service.
  • A recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE with Qualified Teacher Status  (QTS).
  • Recent experience working with pupils in a school setting.
  • An excellent grasp of current educational practices and strategies.
  • Confidence in using technology and digital tools to support learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
