This is a full time girls PE teaching role which will include the opportunity to truly develop the understanding of pupils by delivering the KS3/KS4 curriculum to pupils of all abilities. During KS3, the girls will engage in a range of sports, including netball, gymnastics, swimming, trampolining, volleyball and badminton. Through participation in these sports, your role as PE teacher will be to develop the girls' ability to utilise a range of tactics and strategies to overcome opponents in direct competition, enhance particular techniques and analyse their performance to identify areas for improvement.

At KS4, the GCSE curriculum covers three main areas of: practical performance, personal exercise plan and application of theory to practice. Within those areas, the girls will study topics including movement analysis, sport psychology and anatomy & physiology, in a mix of both practical and classroom based lessons.

The school itself is part of a multi-academy trust and has a culture of high expectations to ensure all pupils progress to achieve and exceed their potential. The vision of the school encompasses an involved community delivering unrivalled opportunities and academic excellence. With a hugely supportive department and excellent sporting facilities, Teaching Personnel are keen to appoint a candidate with a genuine passion for delivering high quality education. Located just off the M6, it is easily accessible by car, and can also be reached easily by train from the South Trafford area.

  • Latest sporting equipment and teaching aids at your disposal
  • Supportive senior leadership and vibrant PE department
  • Regular CPD and career progression opportunities
