An acclaimed primary school for children diagnosed with autism and additional sensory and communication needs are looking to appoint early years and nursery practitioners for immediate full-time positions Monday to Friday each week.
Training will be provided and the role involves supporting children 1:1, and 2:1 in classes of up to 8 pupils with similar learning and developmental needs. Lessons are based on each child’s individual learning stages with realistic targets that really help each child have the best outcomes from education.

What do we look for?
- Experience in Early Years, Nurseries, play centres and primary schools
- Experience or understanding of supporting autism, global developmental delay, speech and language or sensory needs
- Punctuality and consistent attendance
- Play Skills and child development knowledge
- Energetic and bubbly
- Calm and pro-active
- Understanding the roots of challenging behaviours

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
