EYFS Teaching Assistant – Maternity Cover
Location: Thornton | Start Date: 24th November
Hours: Monday - Friday, full time
Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for a qualified and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Thornton. This role is to cover a maternity leave and will begin on 24th November.
Role Overview:
- Support the delivery of high-quality EYFS provision in a nurturing classroom environment
- Work closely with the class teacher to implement engaging, play-based learning activities
- Assist with the development of children's social, emotional, and academic skills
- Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning space
Candidate Requirements:
- Must hold a relevant EYFS qualification (Level 2 or above)
- Previous experience working in an EYFS setting is essential
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A caring, proactive, and flexible approach to supporting young learners
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
