Level 3 Nursery Teaching Assistant (Full-Time)
Location: South Ribble (Preston)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm, Full-Time, Term-Time Only
Are you a passionate and dedicated Early Years practitioner looking to make a real difference in a child's early education? We are seeking a Level 3 Nursery Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and nurturing Primary School in the South Ribble area (Preston).
About the Role:
As a Nursery Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support the learning and development of children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). You will help create a stimulating and supportive environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and a love for learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support children’s learning and development in line with EYFS curriculum
- Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging and age-appropriate activities
- Provide a safe, secure, and welcoming environment
- Monitor and record children’s progress and report to teaching staff
- Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and carers to support each child’s individual needs
Requirements:
- Must hold a full and relevant Level 3 qualification specific to EYFS (e.g. CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education or equivalent)
- Previous experience working within an EYFS setting (school or nursery)
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures
- Excellent communication and teamworking skills
- A caring, patient, and enthusiastic nature

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
