EYFS Teaching Assistant
Location: Preston
Monday to Friday | 8:45am – 3:30pm
£13.75 per hour

We’re looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and hands-on EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a warm and welcoming primary school in Preston.
What You’ll Be Doing:
This is a lovely opportunity to be part of the school’s Early Years team – supporting learners as they take their first steps in education. You’ll be:
- Supporting children through play-based learning and structured activities
- Helping to create a safe, fun and engaging environment where children feel happy and supported
- Assisting with phonics, early literacy and number work
- Encouraging social and emotional development through positive interactions
- Working closely with the teacher and wider team to help every child flourish
What We’re Looking For:
- Someone with experience working with or supporting children (this could be in a school, nursery, childcare or similar)
- A calm, kind and patient approach
- A team player who’s not afraid to get stuck in
- EYFS experience is a big plus – but not essential if you’ve got the right attitude and passion!

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
