• Location: Thornton, Lancashire (FY5)

• Start Date: September 2025

• Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday

• Duration: Initially one term (potential to extend)

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a vibrant EYFS setting in a well-regarded primary school. You will be working closely with the class teacher to support learning and development, with a particular focus on children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). You will play a vital role in helping pupils thrive during a crucial stage of their education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored support to EYFS pupils, including those with SEN

• Assist in delivering engaging, play-based learning activities

• Monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching staff

• Foster a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment

• Help with classroom organisation and resource preparation

We are looking for someone who:

• Has EYFS classroom experience (minimum 6 months preferred)

• Is confident supporting children with SEN, including speech & language, autism or developmental delay

• Is enthusiastic, patient and proactive

• Has a valid DBS (or willing to apply through Teaching Personnel)

• Is committed to supporting early education with care and professionalism
