EYFS Teaching Assistant Required in Sefton

Here at Teaching Personnel we have just had a request from one of our client schools in Sefton, specifically in the Bootle area, for a Teaching Assistant in their EYFS department. The school have a mixed ability pupils in their Early Years and Foundation stage and have high levels of SEN and EAL.

“We are always looking for Teaching Assistants who have good knowledge of the EYFS and framework and can deal with disruptive behaviour. We like people who will get stuck in and be part of our close knit team”. School Headteacher

The school is rated as ‘Good’ by Ofsted, where the report states “Pupils report that they love the school and their parents concur with this view. The EYFS provision in school have an excellent rapport with the children and although the pupils start at different starting point all make goodteaching personnel progress into Key Stage 1.

The role requires someone who has experience pupils with disruptive behaviour and someone who Is familiar with the EYFS framework as there will be some independent learning outside of the classroom. It is an excellent opportunity to work alongside the school SENCO as they will be the class teacher and will be there to support you in the role.
