About the Role
As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities.
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
- Provide one-to-one and small group support, including for pupils with additional needs.
- Assist with classroom organisation and resource preparation.
- Monitor pupil progress and share feedback with the teacher.
- Promote positive behaviour and uphold safeguarding standards.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in an EYFS setting (school or nursery).
- A caring, proactive approach to supporting young learners.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and child development.
- Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential).
