EYFS Teaching Assistant | Poulton-le-Fylde

Location: Poulton
Contract Type: Full-time
Salary: £13.75 – £14.50 per hour

About the Role

As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities.
  • Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support, including for pupils with additional needs.
  • Assist with classroom organisation and resource preparation.
  • Monitor pupil progress and share feedback with the teacher.
  • Promote positive behaviour and uphold safeguarding standards.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in an EYFS setting (school or nursery).
  • A caring, proactive approach to supporting young learners.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and child development.
  • Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential).
