EYFS Teaching Assistant - Full-Time
Location: Blackpool, Lancashire
Salary: £85–£95 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time, Term-time only
Start Date: ASAP

Do you have experience working in nursery or reception settings and want to make a lasting impact in a child’s early development?
We are recruiting for a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a warm and welcoming primary school in Blackpool. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a well-resourced EYFS unit, supporting children through play-based learning and early education milestones.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support children aged 3–5 in line with the EYFS framework
- Assist with phonics, early numeracy, and social development activities
- Help create a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment
- Work closely with the class teacher and EYFS lead to deliver engaging sessions
- Support children with additional needs where required
Requirements:
- Experience working in EYFS settings (nursery, reception, or preschool)
- Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Understanding of child development and the EYFS curriculum
- Patience, creativity and a nurturing approach
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
