EYFS Teaching Assistant

Teaching Assistant Required, Manchester Primary School, Newton Heath (M40)

A client school  are working closely with Teaching Personnel to recruit a teaching assistant to join their EYFS staffing team. This role will start once all the relevant checks have been complete and will be on a full time basis, running for the remainder of the academic year.

This role will be based in the school’s vibrant reception class, so prior experience of supporting learning across EYFS is essential. Prior experience using the ‘Jolly Phonics’ scheme would also be beneficial. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver small group focus sessions and bring positive energy and new exciting ideas to the classroom. The ideal candidate will hold a Level 3 TA qualification or similar and will have recent and relevant experience working with primary aged children. This lovely primary school has been Ofsted rated ‘OUTSTANDING and provides ‘excellent teaching and learning opportunities’ for all its children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
