About the Role:

We are currently working with a lovely primary school in Lancaster that is seeking a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to support a child with additional needs in the Reception class. This is a full-time position, starting as soon as possible, and will continue for the full academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing one-to-one support to a child with SEN in the EYFS setting

• Supporting the class teacher in delivering a rich and engaging EYFS curriculum

• Assisting with personal care, where necessary

• Encouraging positive behaviour and social interaction

• Tracking and reporting progress to the class teacher and SENCO

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent

• Have previous experience working within an EYFS setting

• Have experience supporting children with SEN (e.g., speech and language needs, ASD, developmental delay)

• Be patient, nurturing, and adaptable

• Be available to start immediately
