Year 5 Teaching Assistant – Bispham (FY2)

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support a Year 5 class within a welcoming and supportive primary school in Bispham (Blackpool area).

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and keen to make a real impact on pupils’ learning and development. The role is to start as soon as possible, with continuity through to the end of the academic year and into September 2026.

The Role:

• Providing classroom support in a Year 5 setting
• Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
• Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
• Helping to maintain a positive, engaging learning environment
• Assisting with preparation of learning resources and activities

The Ideal Candidate:

• Has prior experience working with children (school-based experience preferred)
• Is confident supporting Key Stage 2 pupils
• Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Is reliable, adaptable, and committed to supporting pupil progress
• Holds (or is willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS on the update service
