EYFS Teaching Assistant

An Ofsted graded ‘GOOD’ primary school in Keighley are looking to appoint a new teaching assistant to join their Early Years team from April 2021
The role is full-time, Monday to Friday (08:45 – 15:30). It is initially temporary; however, following a successful period of probation, the appointed candidate will be offered a school contract.
The Head Teacher is looking for a teaching assistant who can hit the ground running and make effective contributions to the team. Accordingly, knowledge and experience of the EYFS Framework is essential. In order to be considered for the role, you must hold minimum a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent). The successful candidate will share with the school their vision and will promote these values throughout their daily practice.
The school is an average sized school, with a high proportion of pupils eligible for free school meals. The proportion of pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities is also above the national average. The school is situated close by Keighley town centre and is therefore easily accessible by local transport links.
The Head Teacher is looking to appoint ASAP with the role to start from Monday 12th April 2021

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
