EYFS TA role in Darwen Primary School

Overview of the Role

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a 1 form entry Primary School in the Heart of Darwen, due to a recent resignation the school are looking for an EYFS Teaching Assistant to work from April 2024 five days per week (8:45-15:15). This role will continue until July 2024 with the potential of a permanent role from September 2024. The school are looking for an experienced EYFS Practitioner; you do not have to have had experience in a school setting, how ever experience working with young children is essential. The school are looking for a practitioner who is Level 2 qualified or above. Experience of working alongside children with Special Educational Needs is advantageous, but not essential.

I am currently in search of a motivating EYFS Teaching Assistant to come and work alongside our experienced Early Years teacher. The successful applicant must be experienced and able to think on their feet. The staff at our school are supportive and work closely together to create best practice; we are looking for someone who is able to contribute to that."

CPD courses include Team Teach, Autism Awareness, PREVENT DUTY and Safeguarding and Child Protection Level 1 and 2.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
