EYFS Teacher Needed September

Teaching Personnel have a long-standing partnership with a school in the NG9 area that has been accredited as ‘Good’ in a recent Ofsted report, who are currently searching for a Reception teacher to join the school on a long term basis in September, full-time. The position will run for at least the first 2 terms of the academic year, with the possibility of extension. Achievement and attainment are good across the school, although they require more pupils to exceed the national average for them to achieve ‘Outstanding’.

The Reception class in the school is of particular importance, as students join the school at below the national average, so it is important to give them a fantastic start in order for them to achieve above the national average by the time they leave. You will also have to create an engaging array of lessons to encourage the parents that these lessons are not worth missing, as attendance is only average as some families take extended holidays during term time.

To be considered for the role, you must:

• Have an enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
• Right to work in the UK
• Experienced Teacher - previously worked in EYFS
• Be able to provide 2 relevant references

You will be required to complete an interview and teach one lesson in the school which will be observed. If successful, you will join the school toward in April and will work through Teaching Personnel in the school until the end of the academic year with the potential for the position to run in to the next academic year.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
