EYFS Teacher - Finchley

About the School

An independent primary school in Finchley who is known for its Outstanding SATS results year on year is currently looking for an EYFS / KS1 Teacher. The school focuses heavily on student engagement but not in a traditional sense as they offer a wide range of extra curricular activities to pupils. Additionally, staff development goes hand in hand with a variety of subsidised CPD courses and bespoke training classes. The SLT has a strong focus on maintaining the link between the school and the home offering support to each and every pupil. The school have also moved into a brand new building over the summer holidays, so are excited to welcome a new member of staff to the team.

About the Role

The school are currently looking for an experienced EYFS class teacher who enjoys teaching EYFS and KS1 aged pupils. In this role you will be responsible for: teaching and planning creative lessons, assessing work completed by students and managing school conduct, to name but a few. By actively accessing the needs of the class, you will be able to deliver lessons that are engaging and informative. The Headteacher has nothing but positive feedback about the class who are often described as a joy to work with. Additionally you will be responsible for proving a safe environment where students look forward to coming to school and have and instilled desire to learn when they progress throughout the school.

What we are looking for?

  • Qualified Teaching Status
  • Currently completing PGCE
  • Passionate about Teaching
  • Possess a Valid DBS certificate
  • Interested in teaching KS1 or KS2

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
