KS1 and KS2 Teacher

 

Do you have experience working as a teacher?

 

Teachers are a huge influence on the education journey that children embark on, by laying strong foundations, the teachers in KS1 and KS2 can help set up a pupils journey through education. We are looking for a fantastic teacher to fill one of the great roles we currently have in the Brent area.

 

Location: Brent, London

Role: Teacher (KS1 & KS2)

Duration: Monday to Friday 8:30 to 4:00pm from September, long term and short-term positions available.

Pay: £150 - 200 per day (paid to scaled – negotiable dependant on experience and references)

We are looking for Teachers with UK school experience that are:

  • Enthusiastic about teaching KS1 and KS2.
  • Able to engagingly and enthusiastically deliver the UK curriculum.
  • Energetic and driven teachers looking to progress their careers in education. 
  • Able to direct their classes and support staff effectively.

The teaching positions open are for starts in September 2022, there are long term and short-term positions available, with the aim to be working on a temporary contract and pushing towards permanent positions.

  • Lots of local transport links across Brent, with the trains and buses but driving is preferable.

Essential criteria:

  • Full-time availability
  • Able to travel to Brent. 
  • QTS, PGCE, Teaching experience in UK schools
  • Experience working with children/young people in KS1 and KS2.

Desirable criteria:  Mental health awareness training, Special Needs experience, Team Teach or positive handling training, Full UK driving license or willingness to travel, First Aid Training, Experience of teaching other years, Makaton, Phonics training, Extra curricular activity organising.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
