The Role: Plan and deliver high-quality, age-appropriate lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. Foster a positive, stimulating classroom environment where every child feels safe, valued, and inspired to learn
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering age-appropriate learning activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Observing and assessing children's development, reporting key progress to senior staff and parents
- Assisting with personal care routines, including feeding, toileting, and hygiene
- Creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children
- Working collaboratively with a team of early years professionals to support each child’s development and wellbeing
- Supporting children aged 0-7 to learn, play, and grow through exciting, hands-on activities
- Uphold school policies, including safeguarding and behaviour management procedures.
The ideal candidate:
- Hold level 3 trained Teaching - CACHE Level 3 in Early Years Education or as a Teaching Assistant (minimum requirement is an L2 Early Years Practitioner with evidence/reference from placements)
- Proven experience in an EYFS setting, ideally in a reception class.
- Knowledgeable about current best practice in early years education, including the role of outdoor learning and child-led inquiry.
- A nurturing, creative, and adaptable approach to teaching.
- Excellent teamwork, communication and organisational skills
- Be comfortable with the personal care aspects of working with young children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
