An 'Outstanding' primary school located in Colindale, for children with Autism, SLD, and physical is currently looking for SEN Teacher to join their dynamic team. It is part of a multi-academy, trust incorporating 3 special schools in the London Borough of Harrow.

The school is a happy, safe and stimulating place to be, where emphasis is placed on all of the teams within school working together, teaching, support and therapy - to provide a comprehensive and consistent approach to meeting the needs of all children.

SEN Primary School Teacher :

  • Have a passion for Special Educational Needs and a creative, inspirational approach to developing and delivering the curriculum, able to inspire and develop pupils to achieve their full potential
  • qualified teacher
  • Be able to work collaboratively to secure the best outcomes for all pupils
  • Have knowledge of thrive strategies and an understanding of behaviour management strategies to support pupils
  • Be an excellent classroom manager, able to effectively lead a team of Teaching Assistants
  • As well as a multi-disciplinary approach, regard for others is core and success for everyone is promoted, valued and celebrated

You also will have an opportunity to work collaboratively throughout the Academy and alongside the multi-professional team.
