Position: EYFS 1:1 Support.

Location: Leyland.

Start date: January 2024.

Contract type: Full time (8:30-3:30, Mon-Fri) temp-perm.

Pay rate: £11.85 - £12.50 p/h.

An excellent specialist provision in the Leyland area is looking for an EYFS 1:1 to join their fantastic team from January 2024! This provision provides full time education for pupils aged 4 to 11 years who have previous negative experience within mainstream provisions. This extremely proud provision maintains high expectations and strives to provide the best education possible for their pupils, re-engaging them with learning and ensuring their special educational needs are identified and understood.

As an EYFS 1:1 support you will be required to provide direct support to the provision’s EYFS pupils, loosely following the National Curriculum but also providing continuous provisions and learning through play. You will be required to establish positive working relationships with vulnerable students and their families in order to support their needs within school.

Requirements:

  • Experience/confidence with handling challenging behaviour.
  • A genuine passion for working with and supporting SEMH EYFS pupils.
  • Able to remain calm in high pressure environments.
  • Ability to support pupils on a 1-1 basis as well as in small groups.
