Experienced Upper KS2 Teaching Assistant - Brent

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking an experienced Upper KS2 teaching assistant to join their team in April.

About The School:

The school is a vibrant multi-cultural Primary School that is located near the iconic Wembley Stadium. It is a two-form entry Primary School with over 40 languages spoken at the school. The nearest train stations are Preston Road and Wembley Park underground station which is situated on the Metropolitan line and Jubilee line. There is a friendly and supportive senior leadership team at place in the school.

About The Role:

This is a full-time position that consists of:

- Providing support to the classroom teacher across Year 5 and Year 6

- Delivering literacy and numeracy interventions to small groups of children

- Providing additional booster sessions to children on a one-to-one basis

- Creating and planning personalised SATS preparation exams

deal Candidate:

- At least 1-2 years classroom based experience supporting KS2 pupils

- Tutoring experience in Maths and English would be preferred

- Good spoken and written English

- Strong numeracy skills

- A valid DBS that is registered on the update service or willing to complete an application immediately

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
