Experienced Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – Reading
Location: Primary Schools across Reading, Berkshire
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Contract Type: Full-time or part-time, flexible supply positions available

Are you an experienced Learning Support Assistant (LSA) passionate about making a difference in the lives of primary school pupils? Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting dedicated and skilled LSAs to support a range of primary schools across Reading.
In this role, you will be working closely with class teachers to support individual pupils or small groups, often including those with additional learning needs such as SEN, EAL, or behavioural challenges. Your role will be vital in helping pupils access the curriculum and reach their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Providing tailored support to pupils in EYFS – KS2
-
Supporting learning activities in and outside the classroom
-
Assisting with behaviour management and emotional regulation
-
Building positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
-
Helping to maintain a safe and supportive learning environment
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
-
Previous experience working as an LSA or in a similar support role
-
A proactive and patient attitude
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-
A genuine passion for working with children
-
Experience supporting pupils with SEN (desirable)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
