Exam Invigilators - Stockport Secondary Schools

Our client secondary school in Stockport is looking to recruit a number of examination invigilators to supervise exams which occur throughout the academic year.

The school regularly has internal examinations aswell as the main GCSEs which take place with invigilators being required in September, November/December, February/March and May and June. There is therefore a regular stream of work within this secondary school with the successful individual also having the opportunity to work within the school in other capacities.

Key aspects of this invigilating position:

• Pay: £8.50 per hour
• Supervise examinations ensuring students undertake them in silence
• Work within the school's access arrangements area supervising students in smaller groups

The role of an invigilator involves walking around the exam hall ensuring students remain on task and silent whilst completing the examination. To be a successful invigilator, the individual should be professional, confident and able to maintain concentration. The successful individual doesn't necessarily need to have secondary school experience but this would be beneficial.

This would an ideal position for an individual looking to gain further experience within a secondary school.

The school is located in the Stockport area and is easily accessible via public transport with the tram stopping just 5 minutes away from the school.
