Exam Invigilator / Cover Supervisor

Our client secondary schools are looking for exam invigilator to invigilate and supervise during the upcoming exam period in May and June. The successful invigilators will be supervising students undertaking their exams, ensuring that they remain on task and silent at this crucial time. This is a part time position depending on the exam timetable but often the schools we work with require invigilators throughout the school day. A typical morning slot will be between 8 and 12pm and an afternoon slot will be between 12:30 - 3:30pm. There is a lot of flexibility for invigilators to only take up mornings or afternoons.
To ensure continuity, our client schools are also keen for the invigilators to be available for cover. This role is for an unqualified teacher to deliver pre-set work, again ensuring that students stay on task during lessons and are interacting with the work set. This role is ideal for an aspirational teacher of the future or perhaps a teacher who is now looking for casual work within a secondary school setting.

- Cover Supervisor roles also available for those wishing to gain further experience within a secondary school environment
- Invigilation pay £9/hour and Cover Supervisor between £54 and £65 depending on school and experience
Our client secondary schools are located in the city centre of Manchester, very easily accessible by either the tram, bus or for those that drive; our schools have plenty of car parking facilities.
Our client schools are part of a local trust of secondary schools in which they collaborate between themselves and often ask for the same invigilators and cover supervisors back to ensure continuity and consistency. They are looking for motivated and conscientious individuals interested in working within the secondary school environment.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
