Enhanced Teaching Assistant
Job description
Here on the Primary Team at Teaching Personnel we are seeking x3 Enhanced Teaching Assistants who have the ability to increase pupil engagement and raise standards across school.
We are looking for applicants who are enthusiastic and have high expectations of children's development and achievement. The role will include working as a general teaching assistant and to support as 1-1.
In this role you will be expected to contribute to the delivery of the national curriculum or EYFS Foundation Stage curriculum. You will provide support for pupils, the teacher and the school in order to raise standards of achievement for all, by utilising advanced levels of knowledge and skills when assisting with planning, monitoring, assessing and managing classes.
You will be expected to work collaboratively with teaching staff in the whole planning cycle and the management/preparation of resources. You will also deliver learning to pupils involving small group and 1-1 interventions. You will encourage pupils to become independent learners, to provide support for their welfare, and to support the inclusion of pupils in all aspects of school life.
The successful candidate will:
• Be able to demonstrate a good knowledge and understanding of the National Curriculum and /or EYFS curriculum
• Have highly effective communication skills and a commitment to a working collaboratively
• Inspire and motivate pupils by providing creative and challenging learning experiences

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
