Teaching personnel are looking for a number of English tutors to support Macclesfield Secondary Schools
Due to government COVID-19 catch up schemes like the national tutoring programme, Teaching Personnel has been inundated in requests for English tutors to provide support to a number secondary students who are underperforming.
The Primary duty of the role will be to provide 1 to 1 or small group support to Secondary aged students You will be teaching in line with the national curriculum, with resources provided to support your teaching. There are opportunities to provide both online and in school tuition sessions.
The ideal candidate:
- Degree in English, or a relevant subject
- Any experience in tuition is favourable but non-essential
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- Passion for teaching and fostering an excitement for learning
Key details:
- Earn GBP20 - GBP25 per hour, with weekly pay
- In-school and online sessions available in line with Covid-19 regulations
- Work with a variety of South Manchester secondary schools, an excellent networking opportunity for those seeking a career in education
- Flexible hours to work around other commitments
Any successful applicant would be subject to DBS and Right to work UK checks so relevant documents will be requested.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
