A secondary school in Bishops Stortford is looking to appoint an English graduate Teaching Assistant with immediate effect. The school is looking for a motivated English graduate who has school-based experience from a previous role and a fun, enthusiastic nature. It is expected that you will have a passionate approach to learning and the skills to inspire a love for education in your students. This Teaching Assistant post requires a graduate who has the skills to accurately convey their subject knowledge to the pupils them are working with in a fun and understandable fashion.

In this English Teaching Assistant post you will be working in the English department supporting pupils of all abilities. This English Teaching Assistant position involves bringing your knowledge of the subject into the classroom to support teachers and senior leaders. In this Teaching Assistant role you will be afforded the opportunity to lead classes which will help to develop your future teaching acumen. Day-to-day, you will be aiding the development of students through 1:1 and group sessions outside of the classroom environment.

An inclusive secondary, this school is found in Bishops Stortford, Essex and has good parking facilities. This makes the school highly accessible to any Teaching Assistant residing in areas such as Chelmsford, Bishops Stortford and surrounding areas. The facilities in this school are state of the art, as is the new building that houses them. The staff are expected to maintain high standards in all aspects of school life, striving towards the school’s expectation of a minimum of 75% A* - C.
