English Teacher - Sheffield

Full time English teacher position - Initially 1 year temporary post

Roman Catholic School graded 'Good'

Pay in line with MPS/UPS dependant on experience

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting an English teacher on behalf of a Catholic school located in the Sheffield LA.

With the school having available funding to overstaff their English department, the Headteacher of this high achieving Roman Catholic school hopes to appoint an English teacher ahead of September.

- Full time English position - Initially 1 year temporary post

- Roman Catholic School graded 'Good'

- Teaching both KS3 and GCSE

- Located in Sheffield on the outskirts of the town centre

- Pay in line with MPS/UPS dependant on experience

- Both newly qualified and experienced teachers encouraged to apply

This catholic 11-16 secondary school have a large English department made up of 7 other member of staff. On site parking is available to all staff and the facilities in school are state of the art, building developments in 2011 have given classrooms a modern look with excellent resources. There are just over 950 pupils on roll in school with a lower than average number of pupils who speak English as an additional language.

The incoming English teacher will be able to provide engaging learning to all pupils no matter what ability. The successful applicant will be fully committed to taking full responsibilities on board including assisting to build resources, planning, marking and attending termly parents evening.

This is an excellent opportunity for any English teachers looking to secure a position in a well managed school with excellent pupil behaviour. The school holds a strong catholic ethos, although it is not essential that you are catholic to be considered for this position, applicants must respect the catholic ethos.
