Are you an English Teacher looking for work in the Nelson area?

Teaching Personnel are working with a school in the Nelson area to recruit an English Teacher to join their highly successful department. The school are seeking a candidate to potentially start ASAP, for a suitable candidate the school is able to accommodate a start after the Easter break.

The school is a smaller than average school with approximately 650 pupils on roll. The school has excellent staff support systems and are enthusiastic about investing in their staff to ensure that they are providing the best possible learning environment for their pupils.

NQT's and experienced English Teachers would be considered for the role. The school is looking for a candidate with a good knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 English curriculum who would be confident planning and teaching lessons to a variety of pupil abilities and backgrounds. A successful candidate would also need to be able to plan effective intervention activities and be willing to deliver intervention with a small cohort of pupils.

A successful candidate will benefit from the following:

- Suitable for NQT's and experienced teachers

- Potential for a permanent position for a suitable candidate

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
