English Teacher- Reading based, September 2018.
Teaching Personnel are in the process of recruiting an enthusiastic, inspiring and motivated English practitioner, to join the English Department at this larger than average secondary school.
With an increased demand within the English department at this school, the senior leadership are looking to appoint an English Teacher who is passionate about the English subject, determined to impart knowledge, skills and understanding to all pupils.
- Full time English Teacher Role, September 2018.
- Must hold QTS - Delivering English across the full age, gender and ability range, in a secondary school is essential.
The incoming English Teacher will be joining a supportive staff team, working towards rising student attainment through outstanding teaching and learning. As a member of this developing Secondary school, you can expect to receive on going support and training.
This English Teacher position will include, but not be limited to;
- Experience teaching English as well as developing teaching and learning within the English Department to a high standard is essential.
- Exemplary practice, focused on outstanding delivery to all pupils.
- Develop plans and processes for the classroom to mark and monitor work and make necessary improvements.*
- Lead a full time table covering Key stages 3-4, preparing pupils for examination where applicable through productive communication with all pupils, parents and senior leaders.
