English Teacher - Oldham - September 2019

A Special School situated in Oldham are currently to recruit an English Teacher who can start in September 2019. The role will involve working 5 days per week so would suit mainstream Teachers who are for an opportunity to transition into an exciting new role.
This particular Setting is part of an outstanding multi academy trust which is situated in Oldham. The Setting caters for pupils with SEN including those with: PMLD, MLD, significant interaction and communication difficulties. In its most recent OFSTED inspection the School was rated as Outstanding with OFTSED commenting that the social and emotional development of pupils is particularly outstanding.
This role will involve working with Key Stage 3 pupils who have moderate learning difficulties. The pupils are working are working between National Curriculum and P scales so you will need to have an understanding of to plan and deliver English sessions from P scales to National Curriculum.
The ideal Teacher will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- An in-depth understanding of how to deliver sessions in accordance with the National Curriculum
- A passion for supporting pupils with SEN
