Kingston based Catholic school looking for an English teacher to start in September

'outstanding' rated school - £140 to £260 a day

Outstanding School in Kingston need an English teacher to start in September to work on a full time basis - interviews next week

Requirements

  • All Teachers require teaching qualifications such asQTS, aPGCE or similar
    • NQTs would be considered for this role depending on feedback from PGCE placements
  • English teachers must have experience teaching English literature or language up to key stage 4 at a minimum
  • The successful teacher would be require to plan, prepare and mark students work
  • All applicants must hold an enhanced child workforce DBS on the update service, or are willing to apply for one (assistance will be provided)
  • Must be able to provide a full and complete 6 year career history, with two graded (performance based) references from your two most recent education based roles

The School

The Kingston based Catholic school is situated far enough away from the city to be able to be surrounded by parks and woodland areas, yet it is easily accessible by public transport. The students are afforded the opportunity to embrace the scenery as the school own the majority of the land. Senior leadership understand the importance for children, and staff a like, to spend time in nature and get fresh air.

Ofsted has rated the school as 'outstanding' noting that the Senior Leadership have a good understanding of the needs of students and staff. Overall the behaviour at the school is good as teachers are provided with adequate support in class to manage behaviour and create innovative lessons within the bounds of the curriculum.

The Role

  • Science maternity cover
  • Starting September 2019
  • Full time role; 5 days a week, 8:30am till 3:30pm
  • Pay between £120 and £230 a day depending on experience and education

  • Easily accessible via car or public transport, a short walk from the station
