Catholic school in Kingston seeking English Teacher - £120 to £225 a day

A Fully Qualified English Teacher needed in Kingston for a September start

This school needs teachers with QTS, PGCE, or equivalent teaching qualifications.

Please do not apply if you do not meet the below requirements

Requirements:

  • Teaching qualifications (for example QTS or PGCE)
  • Experience teaching English literature or language at Key Stages 3 to 5
  • Pay rate of £120 to £225
  • Full time role, working 8:30 till 3:30 5 days a week
  • This would be a long term role beginning in January and running till the end of the academic year

The School

This is a lovely Catholic school, situated in the Kingston area, with a strong and decisive leadership. Located in an easily accessible area, the school has historic Edwardian buildings and was once a Grammar school. Steeped in history, the school celebrates their achievements, both academic and sporting.

The leadership at the school do promote the catholic denomination, but don't expect staff to participate in Religious activities if they chose not to. Staff are friendly and inclusive resulting in a positive working environment that benefits both teachers and students.

The Role

The Kingston based school is looking to hire an experienced English teacher to work on a full time basis from the September for the academic year. Ideally, the candidate will have a strong subject knowledge combined with an ability to not only control the class, but help students develop socially.
