English Teacher

This English teaching job is a maternity cover which will start in October 2020 and will be up to a 1 year contract. Due to its rapid growth, there are lots of opportunities at this school, especially for the successful candidate. 

The successful candidate will:

• Have QTS
• Be a passionate and motivating English teacher. Experienced in teaching key stage 3 and key stage 4, key stage 5 experience is desirable but not essential
• Manage a class of students and have excellent behaviour management – strong relationship building is also very important
• Work in collaboration with an established, supportive and friendly English department
• Plan, prepare and mark students lessons and work and also attend events such as parents evening

Full assistance will be provided should you need to apply for a new check, at a standard cost of GBP40, plus an annual subscription fee of GBP13 for the Update Service.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
