Teaching Personnel are searching for an English Teacher to join a Social, Emotional and Mental Health Specialist School on a full time basis.

You must have experience in teaching English across Key Stage 2, 3 and 4, and you must be confident in managing challenging behaviour. The pupils in this provision have a variety of mental health needs and you will regularly encounter challenging behaviour so must have a proven record of managing and responding to this. The school caters for students between the ages of 10-16 who are unable to access Mainstream Education due to Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties. Qualifications such as Team Teach will be extremely beneficial in this position.

The School require an English Teacher with Full QTS and with experience of working within Alternative Provision or experience working with students with Additional Needs. You will be required to work full time from Monday – Friday, with pay depending on experience.

You will be joining an extremely welcoming team of staff who are dedicated to improving the lives of their young people. You will have access to excellent CPD training as well as competitive rates of pay, this role will be held on a full time basis with a strong potential of a permanent contract to the right candidate.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
