Teacher of English Part Time 0.8 Basingstoke
This school is looking to recruit a teacher of English for a 4 day timetable to cover Maternity for up to one year. This position is open to all teachers of English and would be suitable for an NQT or experienced unqualified teacher.
The school are interested in teachers who will bring motivation and ambition to the position with excellent subject knowledge and strong teaching skills. It is important in this role to be able to quickly build relationships with students parents and staff members. You will work in collaboration with the English department as well as the wider school to aid the overall success of students. The school would prefer a member of staff who is able to join extracurricular activities and add additional value to the school community; however this is not necessary to be appointed.
The school have a brilliant support system with ongoing CPD and a dedicated team who place the students at the forefront of everything and students who are proud to be a part of the school and wider community. The English department have a well resourced area with an online intranet for sharing of ideas and resources. The head of the department is well respected among the school and faculty and is happy to assist teachers to ensure ongoing success.
