English Teacher, January start 

Are you a qualified maths specialist looking for a new challenge? Do you want to be part of a highly innovative mathematics department?

  • Maternity cover

  • GBP115-180 a day

A school in South Liverpool is looking for an english teacher of excellent quality to become part of their department in the new year. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching up to KS4 level and will be able to provide the pupils with the much needed consistency and support they have not experienced enough of this year. You will also have proven strong behavioural management skills and attention to detail.

Based in an all girls catholic school, graded Good by OFSTED in 2017.

The school provides modern facilities with new state of the art sports facilities and technology hubs. The ideal candidate will have experience working within a challenging environment and proven ability to help implement and maintain change and development.

About the role

English teacher of excellent standard

Ages 11-18 (KS3-4)

5 days a week

Matenrity cover

Creating varied and engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum

There will be an expectation to create lesson plans and mark the student’s work, as well as working closely with students on a ‘one to one basis.’

Requirements

A UK recognised teaching qualification (BA QTS, BSc QTS, CERT ED, PGCE)

Experience teaching English to GCSE at secondary school (from KS3-KS5)

A positive attitude with a close attention to detail.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
