English Teacher – Milton Keynes (January 2024 start)

Start date: 8th January 2024 - April 2024 (possibly longer)

Contract: Full-time

Our client secondary school, based in Bedford, requires a Teacher of English to join their dedicated team. You will be joining a team of creative, supportive and dynamic staff to teach Key Stages 3 and 4, with teaching timetable only required up to Year 10. The  department is already established but needs an additional member of staff to support them for at least 1 term, possibly longer.

The school is focused on providing an inclusive education for all children and ensuring that every child has access to the same opportunities.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Be a qualified teacher of English and able to deliver to KS3 & KS4 (year 10)
  • Highly knowledgeable in English Language and Literature with experience working with Secondary age pupils
  • Be passionate about teaching and learning and have a positive outlook and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Good or Outstanding classroom practice with high expectations for achievements and behaviour
  • Be able to plan and deliver a creative and stimulating curriculum, both in the physical and digital classrooms
  • High expectations for yourself and the students ensure that all of our students achieve their very best
  • You will be dedicated to ensure that all children achieve their very best
  • An aspiring leader of learning and happy to grasp exciting CPD opportunities
  • Contribute to the values, ethos and the development of our schools

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
