English Teacher - Chesterfield

At Teaching Personnel we have a high number of opportunities for 'Good' or 'Outstanding' teachers who are looking for their next long-term role.

Our Secondary School client in the South Chesterfield area are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of English to join their thriving English department. This post provides an excellent opportunity for an ambitious teacher who is passionate about the subject of English and has the ability to demonstrate a constructive and resourceful approach in the classroom. The post will provide the successful applicant with the opportunity to teach across the full age and ability range at KS3 and KS4. This is an exciting panorama to be part of this successful team, which supports students to achieve their potential up to GCSE. The team work very collaboratively and are always keen to develop their pedagogy and adopt new approaches. This role will be to start as soon as possible. Applications from experienced teachers and from newly qualified teachers are welcome.

We are seeking an English Teacher who:

  • Has previous experience working in a UK classroom setting
  • Can teach English up to GCSE level
  • Can adapt to new situations quickly & have the ability to think on your feet
  • Have an upbeat and positive attitude towards the education of young people
  • Hold QTS and a child workforce DBS certificate registered on the Update Service
