Our client secondary school located in Blandford Forum is looking to recruit an English teacher to join their English department in September 2021. The successful English teacher is required to cover an upcoming maternity leave with the current English teacher due to go on their maternity during the summer break. The appointed English teacher will be teaching English (both Language and Literature) to GCSE level.

This is a maternity cover with the passionate teacher of English required for the duration of the new academic year 2021/2022. Whilst this is a maternity cover, there is the opportunity to progress onto a school based contract following this final term for the remainder of the maternity cover.

Highlights of this English teaching position:

  • Pay will be in line with pay scale ranging between: GBP24,765 and GBP45,256
  • Full time English teaching position starting on Monday 6th September 2021
  • Duration for the entire academic year in the first instance with the opportunity to secure and move onto a school based contract
  • Teach AQA English Language and English Literature up to GCSE level
