English Teaching Position

  • Full-time English teaching position available, Easter 2019 start.
  • Previous evidence of 'Good' and 'Outstanding' teaching is compulsory.
  • Pay in line with teaching experience (£23,720 - £39,406 per annum).
  • Opportunity to secure a permanent position, CPD and progression opportunities.
  • Large secondary school based in Horwich

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a large secondary school based in Bolton to appoint an English teacher for an open gap within their English faculty from Easter 2019.

This position has recently come to light following the internal promotion of one the schools English Teaching faculty who is now stepping away from their teaching timetable.

Due to the circumstances surrounding this vacancy, the school will appoint the successful English teacher initially on a temporary basis until the end of the academic year, with the view of securing a permanent contract from September 2019.

The school seek to meet with English teachers immediately and are considering applications from teachers of all experience levels. (Newly Qualified teachers are encouraged to apply for this role.)

Our client school;

  • Has a Sixth Form on campus and is larger than the average Secondary school with around 1800 pupils on roll.
  • Was graded 'Good' in all areas in their most recent Ofsted inspection.
  • The school is located in Bolton and can easily be accessed via the M61 motorway.
  • Public transport links are easily accessible via the surrounding areas of Wigan, Chorley, Preston, Bury and Salford.
  • Has on-site car parking for all staff members
