Teaching Personnel are currently working alongside a Secondary school in Salford, aiding them with the recruitment of an English teacher. Due to a member of staff in the English department going on maternity leave, our client school are currently looking for an English teacher to cover this absence for the remainder of the academic year.
Our client school is based in Salford and is accessible via both the M60 and A57 from areas such as Bolton, central Manchester and Bury. For non-driver s, the school is also accessible by public transport with direct links from the surrounding areas of Greater Manchester.
- Full-time English teacher position available from October half term 2019 until the end of the academic year 2020.
- Both experienced and newly qualified Mathematics teachers are welcome to apply as relevant induction support will be provided.
- Must hold QTS alongside subject specific qualifications within English
- Pay in line with teaching scale point (GBP24,373 - GBP40,490 per annum).
- Teaching a full timetable, across Key Stage Three and GCSE.
The incoming English teacher will be required to:
- Collaborate with senior teachers in order to establish new activities to boost students’ attainment and monitor progress.
- Deliver pupil centred lessons throughout the creation of comprehensive lesson plans.
- Incorporate various methods of teaching to ensure pupils are actively engaged and understand the materials clearly.
- Promote positive behaviour management and support pupils with challenging behaviour or learning difficulties.
