Opportunity to support pupils at various levels of learning abilities within the English department at a secondary school in Salford.
- Full-time English teacher.
- Required from September 2021 for the full academic year.
- Teaching a full timetable across Key Stage 3 and GCSE.
- Taking on full planning and marking responsibilities.
- Pay in line with teaching scale point (GBP25,714 - GBP41,604 per annum).
The incoming English teacher will be expected to plan, prepare and deliver differentiated English lessons to meet the needs of individuals at various levels of learning.
To be considered for this position, you must hold experience teaching English up to GCSE level alongside QTS. Both experienced and newly qualified English teachers are welcome to apply as relevant induction support will be provided.
Our client secondary school is in Salford and is smaller than average with around 600 pupils on roll. The school can be accessed via the M62 from the surrounding areas of Greater Manchester including Bolton and central Manchester. The school can also be accessed via public transport from areas such as Worsley, Swinton and Prestwich.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
